Greenery — Exploring Color Through Type
EXPERIMENTAL TYPE • CONTEXTUAL NARRATIVE • POSTER DESIGN
Commissioned as a concept-driven campaign to explore how color can carry meaning on its own, the work transforms familiar green references, from mint toothpaste and green Jell-O to lush grass and the playful nostalgia of Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss, into expressive, material-driven letterforms.
The solution was a hands-on, with typography built from objects and textures directly tied to each word’s meaning. Green herbs shaped “Flavor” to suggest aroma and freshness, while layered foliage formed “Camouflage,” leaning into green’s natural association with concealment. The result is type that feels tactile, playful, and completely intertwined with the color green.
